Unfortunately, fully 100% sustainable underwear does not exist. The production of lingerie always involves a certain degree of environmental impact. From this reality, Pavone strives to make choices that are as responsible as possible: using high-quality materials, careful production, and attention to people and the environment.

Sustainably produced in Portugal with premium bamboo

Pavone Lingerie stands for conscious and responsible production. We regularly receive questions about our production processes, both regarding the environment and human well-being. We fully understand this, which is why we choose transparency at every step.

Our lingerie is produced in Portugal, in collaboration with certified family businesses. These are small-scale ateliers where craftsmanship, quality, and fair working conditions are central. We maintain close contact with our producers and visit them regularly to ensure the processes.

We work with carefully selected fabrics, prioritizing comfort and quality. Our bamboo fabric consists of 95% of the purest and highest quality bamboo fibers. Bamboo is known for its softness, breathability, and skin-friendly properties.

Bamboo contains cellulose fibers that must be extracted from the stalk. This can be done in two ways: mechanically or chemically. At Pavone, we choose bamboo viscose produced through a controlled chemical process because this yields the soft and refined fiber structure needed for our lingerie.

Chemicals are always used in this process. Therefore, it is essential that this is done responsibly. We strictly monitor our suppliers on this and take immediate action if they do not meet our standards.

Besides bamboo, we work with refined lace, which is selected and processed with the same care. Every detail is consciously composed to balance comfort and elegance.

Pavone Lingerie is also OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified. This means that all parts of the product have been independently tested for harmful substances and are safe for human health.
