Lichen Planus is a non-contagious, inflammatory condition affecting the skin, nails, and mucous membranes, including the vulva, vagina, and penis. It typically appears as flat, shiny, itchy red to light purple bumps on the skin, often with a fine network of white lines. The exact cause is unknown, but it is believed to be an autoimmune disorder.
